Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between A1 and A2?+
A1 covers the simplest everyday situations. At A2 you understand and form longer, connected sentences, talk about the past and the future, and know more vocabulary for topics like travel and work.
Should I finish A1 before starting A2?+
You should be able to recall the core A1 words reliably. With spaced repetition you keep reviewing A1 while you add new A2 words.
Which false friends should I watch out for?+
A few classics for English speakers: embarazada means pregnant, not embarrassed. Éxito means success, not exit. Librería is a bookshop, not a library. Actual means current, not real. Recallo points out traps like these with a short learning tip on the word.
